Role Overview:

This position will lead efforts to promote growth of products and services in the Aviation Voices Services (AVS) portfolio. The successful candidate will be a key contributor in leading the AVS organization in meeting its financial goals, and managing the lifecycle plan of the AVS product and services portfolio. Additionally they will lead a team of expert support engineers in identifying and testing new products and technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Business Growth

  • Key contributor to deliver on AVS Revenue and Margin goals

  • Develop targets of opportunities to increase revenue and customer base

  • Develops and maintains customer business relationships in domestic and international markets for LMR, HF, and Sat Voice services with a focus on commercial aviation organizations and ANSPs.

  • Attend Industry meetings and events.

  • Lead capture efforts including proposals & contracts

  • Business Management

  • Development vision and long term strategy for voice radio services, in current and new markets.

  • Key contributor in the developing long term strategic and financial plan

  • Responsible for developing and executing capture plans and market pricing and strategy for the Aviation Voice Services product line.

  • Responsible for the defining the life cycle of AVS products and services defining and implementing new products and services

  • Interface with marketing department to create product campaigns.

  • Oversee support engineers and lab activities.

  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time

Qualifications

  • This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 8 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required.

  • The Ideal Candidate will have experience in the LMR market and an good understanding of Aviation communications.

  • MBA preferred
