As a proactive team member, working varying shifts, the Maintenance Mechanic IV is responsible for performing and managing plant maintenance programs under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, which include but are not limited to automation equipment, low voltage electrical devices, pneumatics, plumbing, and other various production equipment. Maintenance activities must ensure that employee health and safety, product safety, and the protection of the environment are never compromised, and that all maintenance activities enhance product quality, plant performance and business priorities.

Primarily supporting our multi-shift operations.
This position will perform facility and equipment maintenance.
This position will coordinate outside contractors and other maintenance personnel as needed.
Electrical or mechanical skills are helpful.
Responsible for hands on maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all plant pneumatics, hydraulics, and electric systems including program logic control (PLC) systems controls machine network devices (EthernetIP Network). The Maintenance Mechanic IV (MM4) will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures in all plant manufacturing equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, conveyers, process handling machines, dismantling, painting and stenciling systems.
Responsible for hands on maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all process hand tools, such as pneumatic or electric devices.
The Maintenance Mechanic IV is responsible for accurate and timely documentation of performance and processes as required by local and regional leadership. The MM4 will schedule, execute and properly document work orders within the work order System.
The MM4 will accurately complete additional scheduling and repair material documentation and reporting as required. Active participation in machine process and design improvement forums is required. The MM4 will provide coaching on use and repair of industrial production equipment to operators and peers in the Maintenance shop.
The MM4 will participate in health and safety programs including council or committee meetings, OSHA and corporate mandated training, certification and recertification. And the MM4 will perform any other duties as assigned.

Prompt response to maintenance emergency requests.
Demonstrate safe work procedures.
Perform advanced troubleshooting, calibration or modification of hardware, fixtures, and software.
Participate on and/or lead project teams.
Apply technical expertise in the evaluation, development, maintenance, and use of complex products, devices, tests, or procedures under constantly changing conditions where moderate ingenuity and judgments are required.
Design simple circuits, fixtures, or mechanical parts.
Provide technical solutions to engineering.
Participate on safety initiatives.
Perform general maintenance.
Provide a safe working environment for all building occupants.
Perform maintenance work to ensure efficient facility operation.
Review plans for facility projects.
Provide input on project improvements.
Make recommendations for providing a safe work environment
Perform work as specified.
Support manufacturing activities through the resolution of production problems, fabrication of complex hardware, equipment and training.
Self-manage workflow throughout area with minimal guidance, to achieve team goals.
Estimate labor, material, and manufacturing costs for the building and repair of product or process enhancement.
Identify and correct minor process, material, design, or equipment problems
Actively participate in material review activities including troubleshooting of non-conformances.
Perform mid-level (moderately complex) testing or mechanical operations on production/repair hardware including troubleshooting to component level.
Provide skill specific training to improve technique and/or understanding of theory of operation.
Fabricate complex equipment, hardware or prototypes.
Education / Certifications
High School Diploma Required.
Associate’s Degree or Technical Degree is preferred.
8+ years working in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
