Collins Aerospace utilizes Document Management tools in a global environment. We support Collins Communications and Collaboration collection of document management applications. We must ensure our systems stay compliant with UTC policies, domestic and International laws.
We are looking for technical professional to join our team to support the Documentum Document Management application software. This individual should be able to work independently for their daily tasks. Using deductive problem solving skills to investigate and solve a broad range of support issues from end users and application. Assisting with daily administration tasks and resolving issues from our business units. Working with our team for any infrastructure changes and application installations. Assisting with team projects which include application installation and roll out of end user solutions. Working with a mentor to learn the environment and application.
Assist with support and maintenance of existing installations of Documentum
Troubleshooting end user issues
Provide concise details if further analysis and/or assistance is needed
Maintain the application and server environments with support from senior team members
User addition to application
Modifying user roles to application
Daily review of application jobs, reporting and escalation of issues
Assist with application installation and upgrades
Assist with testing and document all modification of the Documentum environment.
Validate application and system compliance within your role
Updating management on any potential issues
Experience / knowledge the following technologies:
Knowledge of Documentum
Knowledge of D2 is plus
Linux Server Administration is a plus
Windows Server Administration is a plus
Oracle Basics is a plus
2 - 3 years direct work experience in Documentum
Ability to install and configure an application
Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.
