Primary Responsibilities
Understand day-to-day business operations
Assess business processes to identify ways to more accurately record costs and reduce financial risk
Transform tools and processes to achieve business and accounting objectives
Define specifications, develop, test, and implement system solutions
Manage multiple-step analytical and technical projects
Identify opportunities to leverage software system efficiencies
Encourage disciplined use of systems and processes
Analyze system anomalies to identify and resolve root cause issues
Analyze and communicate financial and operational results
Perform recurring accounting tasks
Education
Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience OR
Advance degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR
In absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required
Basic Qualifications
ERP system experience
Project management experience
Business systems analyst experience
Proven track record working on cross functional teams
Strong communication, business writing, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
SAP FICO experience
Aerospace/Manufacturing cost analysis experience
Advanced data mining skills (BI/BW, WEBI, Power BI, Visual Basic)
Experience driving continuous improvement
SAP GPD and MTO experience
