We are looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for planning, documenting and overseeing all aspects of assigned projects related to Planning, Logistics and Inventory processes. You will have advanced knowledge in Materials, Planning and/or Logistics functions within an international manufacturing organization.
You will work closely with multiple sites, programs and leadership to ensure project milestones are documented and the project is proceeding on schedule and within scope. You will need to create detailed plans, manage risks and communicate at all levels of the organization. You will need to work within a matrix organization to manage resources and functional owners and ensure execution of deliverables.
Projects will include the development and deployment of standard work, training, guidelines and related tools and systems for Aerostructures sites and programs. In addition, you will also ensure that such policies, procedures, tools, and systems are implemented in a consistent and standardized approach in support of Materials Management goals, objectives, and key initiatives.
Responsible for applying Lean/Continuous Improvement tools to Materials, Planning and Logistics functions across all Value Streams, Sites and Supply Chain.
Responsible for planning and leading projects and events, demonstrating successful implementations via presentation, and training employees on tools and processes.
Providing requirements and recommendations to internal functions and project groups.
Regular tasks will include data analysis and reporting and root-cause analysis.
Develop and track appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement.
Clear understanding of all phases of the project implementation schedule, to include the core deliverables for each functional area.
Interactions across the business functions and leadership, requiring excellent communication skills.
Experience & Qualifications
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience OR
Advance degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR
In absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required
Solid work ethic with a focus on collaboration to drive business results
Experience in a Lean manufacturing operations environment
Knowledge of ACE and Lean principles, tools and processes.
Demonstrated experience in change leadership and change management
Highly skilled in utilizing problem solving methodologies to identify root cause and define solutions.
Must possess good oral and written communication
MS Office Suite experience with proficiency in Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Visio
Candidate must be a US Person (Citizen or permanent resident)
PMP or other formal project management training
Change Leadership certification, training and experience
Demonstrated proficiency in ERP systems, SAP and Warehouse Management System(s) preferred
