We have an excellent opportunity for an electrical facilities engineer located at our Collierville, TN manufacturing facility

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for technical support involving installation of new equipment, modification of existing equipment, and repair and maintenance of all electrical equipment for the following plant systems:

  • Low and High Pressure Air Delivery

  • Equipment Cooling Water System

  • Refrigerant Delivery and Reclaim

  • Nitrogen Generation

  • Plant Lighting Control

  • Water Remediation Reclaim

  • Waste Water Treatment

  • Security Monitoring

  • Power Distribution (4 Main Transformers & 20 Substations)

  • Tool & Die

  • Plant PLC Monitoring & Notification

  • Perform project evaluations including Design, Scheduling, Estimating, Cost Control, Budgeting, and Quality Control, and manages project through closeout.

  • Collaborate with maintenance, management, and contractors to ensure proper maintenance and modification of all electrical systems.

  • Work closely with facilities electricians to instruct and guide them in troubleshooting, maintenance, and project improvements.

  • Ensure building electrical systems are within compliance of regulatory and code requirements.

  • Perform problem solving, troubleshooting, and relentless root cause analysis on all electrical breakdowns to minimize downtime to back shops and assembly.

  • Work in a team effort with internal customers, process engineers, facility engineers, operations personnel, and construction disciplines to provide detailed designs and specifications for new capital projects.

  • Design and draft complete, legible, and accurate working drawings including one-lines, power, lighting, grounding, cable tray, etc. for existing and new systems.

  • Create, manage, complete, and document projects that improve safety, improve quality, and/or reduce energy usage.

  • Develop and modify Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Operator Instruction Guides (OIGs), and Preventative Maintenance Procedures (PMs)

  • Review vendor operating and maintenance manuals and drawings related to new equipment and ensure information is transferred to CMMS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or related discipline

  • 2+ years of experiences in facilities, electrical engineering, or related field

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Must be able to work both 1st or 2nd shifts

  • Position eligible for overtime
