This is a paid position and will begin either May 18, 2020 or June 1st and is Full Time – 40 hours a week. It will run through December 2020.

Position Overview:

You will benefit from working side by side with a talented and experienced group of professionals eager to mentor. Day to day activities can involve significant interaction with various functional groups such as Optical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering and Precision Manufacturing, allowing for additional broad learning opportunities.

As a Contracts Co-op at ISR & Space Systems , you will be supporting execution of contracts with various customers, which may include the US Government, Commercial Customers, International Customers, and other US Government Contractors. Tasks include:

  • Proposal preparation, fact finding, and contract negotiations

  • Completing contract closeout

  • Administering contract changes in SAP

  • Supporting and maintaining contractual records, proposal logs and reporting

  • Assisting Government audit activities

  • Composing customer communications via email and/or formal letters

  • Establishing knowledge with Government (FAR/DFAR) and commercial contract language

  • Preparing contractual agreements such as: Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Bailment Agreements, Associate Contractor Agreements (ACAs), etc.

  • Fulfilling applicable training

  • Completing special projects, as required

Required:

  • Must be enrolled as a full time student preceding and following the assignment

  • GPA of 3.0 or above is required at both the time of application and start date

  • Due to contract requirements, this position is only available to US Citizens (No Dual Citizenship)

Education/Certifications:

Must be pursuing a degree in Business Administration or Liberal Arts Major; other disciplines may be considered. In addition you must have completed a minimum of 24 college credits.
