The engine program that powers the F-35 has an opening for a motivated, self-starting F135 Customer Support Hardware Engineer, (CSE) to join our fast pace and dynamic group. As part of Military Customer Support & Services, duties include support of Field Customers at Base and Depot Locations across three different military services and multiple international customers.

Responsibilities:

Providing timely responses to numerous technical questions to ensure uninterrupted daily flight operations.

Additional responsibilities include authoring technical presentations, providing logistics assessments, drafting Position Papers, provide daily MERLIN responses, and respond to Action Requests (AR).

The individual in this position will work with the team to create maintenance awareness briefings, and support engineering investigations, while coordinating with government customers.

It is expected that this individual will coordinate technical issue resolution among PW CIPT, Logistics Program Management (LPM), and Joint Program Office (JPO) customer.

This individual will also have responsibility for assisting in the support of the monthly safety meeting reporting any Nozzle impacts to the fleet.

Duties also include providing Joint Technical Updates pertaining to customer requests and Engineering Changes (EC) for Unit and Depot level maintenance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred) or related technical field

  • 5+ plus years of experience working in an engineering related job

  • US Citizenship required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Jet engine assembly and engine shop maintenance experience

  • The ability to work multiple technical tasks at one time

  • Demonstrated ability for solving problems

  • Strong work ethic

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
