Hot Section Engineering (HSE) at Pratt & Whitney is currently looking for a motivated Intern in Design Engineering to join our team in support of commercial and military gas turbine engines. In HSE, we are responsible for the development of engine components ranging from the combustor, to turbine rotors and airfoils, to major structural cases which operate at substantially elevated temperatures.
As a Design Intern, you will participate in the execution of ongoing design efforts across the entire PW product line. This design activity spans all PW products, including: venerable TF33, JT8D engines to the state of the art military and commercial engines like the F135 engine powering the 5th generation stealth F-35 Joint Strike Fighter to the NGPF family of engines which incorporates the revolutionary Geared Turbofan architecture.

Do you meet these Basic Qualifications?
US Citizenship is required due to government contracts .
You're in an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering degree program.
Fields of study:Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
You will have at least 30 credits prior to starting your internship
You have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
