We’re seeking an Associate Director of Executive Development & Succession Planning who’s ready to help us deliver on our commitments today, plan our strategy for the future and leave their fingerprints on the organization for years to come.
The successful candidate will direct and manage annual executive and leadership development reviews for all global Otis regions; identify new executive development opportunities; and manage relationships with existing and future third-party vendors – all while maintaining the strictest standards of confidentiality.
Builds and refines executive development programs to match the needs of a new, standalone Otis
Creates comprehensive and fluid executive succession plans, highlighting gaps and risks to the organization
Collaborates with global “Talent Center of Excellence” team members to drive Otis’ competency model throughout the executive ranks
Communicates standards and guidelines across Otis and ensures company-wide uptake
A bachelor’s degree in business or human resources management with 12-plus years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in one of these fields and 10-plus years of relevant experience, is required
Extensive experience with executive development and succession planning in a major, global corporation or consultancy
A global mindset and intercultural communication experience gained through international assignments or working in a global context
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to perform well in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
The highest standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality
Experience with modern Learning Management Systems, learning-engagement platforms, and adult-learning theory
Demonstrated thought leadership in executive development and succession planning
