This role will reside within UTC, but will provide service and support to the UTC Aerospace Systems business within the US. Role Summary

HR Reporting Lead

The HR Reporting Lead will be a forward-thinker, big picture and practical about interpreting and aggregate responsible to aggregate data and to produce value-added HR reports to internal GPS customers and external HR customers, such as HR Business Partners, HR Leaders and top executives of the organization. The Lead will drive the creation of monthly/quarterly dashboards, through reporting tools, allowing to research trends, issues and deliver recommendation to the customer. This role will also support the management of data quality within the HR systems.

Fundamental Resposibilities:

  • Designs, develops and deliver value added HR reports

  • Acts as the expert designing the HR data models

  • Identifies needs and requests of the business and prepares the correct sets of reports

  • Identifies measures for main GPS strategic initiatives and sets the measurement methodology, which is consistent and comparable with the existing measurement available externally for benchmarking purposes

  • Designs the HR early warning system to catch up unhealthy trends in the organization

  • Runs regular audits over HR data and reports issues to be corrected

  • Designs the HR data privacy policy and sets rules for the data access to different HRIS modules

  • Participates in various HR Projects and delivers the source data for the analysis in the project team

  • Build monthly Dashboards and conduct trend analysis for all of GPS (Service Center, Specialized Services, Data Management) to meet the business needs

  • Capture key data requirements for a range of stakeholders - HR Leadership; Business Partners; Management Teams; etc.

  • Ad-hoc reports as requested

  • Evaluate and ensure accuracy and completeness of data - implementing processes to improve data quality

  • Provide accurate and timely management information ensuring that reports are produced and delivered effectively and within SLAs

  • Provide strong analytical skills, with confidence in using and interpreting numerical data, able to tell a story with the data

  • Identify and introduce methods to update, simplify, and enhance reporting processes and procedures

  • Ensure maintenance of all personnel information in accordance with the Data Protection Act and the Freedom of Information Act

  • Support the overall objectives of the People Services team

  • Assist with systems’ administration tasks, including data uploads, data cleanse and workflow design

  • Undertake appropriate project work to support the activities of the HR function

  • Ensure integrity of data within the HRIS and Payroll systems, and advise HR colleagues of actions needed to maintain data accuracy

Experience/Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years related experience developing, implementing and managing functional reporting and analytical strategies

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong mindset focusing on inefficiencies and process improvements

  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) with all levels of the organization

  • Strong computer skills in MS Office

  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven atmosphere

  • Experience working within an HR function preferred

  • Demonstrated experience of combining data from separate systems is essential

  • Experience of using Excel to produce reports and analyze data is also essential

  • Knowledge and experience of Web-enabled IT tools and software such as Excel/Word, SharePoint

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel in review and analysis of large volumes of data

  • Experience using data analytics tools advantageous

  • Ability to extract data from a number of sources to produce meaningful reports back to the customer

  • Demonstrate creativity and innovation in improving the delivery of reports and analytics

  • Ability to work as part of a team, within a very busy environment, which has strict deadlines

  • Ability to be able to work under pressure and respond to changing priorities

  • In addition to the responsibilities and skills listed above, the candidate must be flexible in their approach and undertake other duties and projects when required

Education and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) required.
