Synthesizes analyses of data, uses the results to prepare technical reports of findings and recommendations, and communicates key findings to more senior engineers.
Conducts engineering processes using standard work, including verification and qualification procedures.
Performs standard engineering assignments. Selects engineering techniques to solve problems and make design decisions.
Participates as a team member in a specific phase of a broad engineering assignment.
Compiles certification documentation for submission to commercial aircraft OEM's and regulatory agencies.
Supports the certification test activities such as Environmental, Pressure, Structural, Flammability testing etc.
Prepare of appropriate documentation for assigned projects.
Participates in defining engineering approaches, and in planning and scheduling work.
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Performs other related duties as required.
- It is also desirable for the intern to be proficient in Microsoft Office Products, Labview/data acquisition software, Matlab, Minitab and 3D Modeling Software (Unigraphics, Solidworks).

Minimum GPA of 3.0
Completion of sophomore year
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
Enrollment in a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD program for the Fall 2019 semester in Mechanical Engineering
Candidate is required to be proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
