Position Summary: The Project Controller will be part of a multi-cultural, dynamic team and will be responsible for project accounting to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

As a business partner to Systems Project business leader, Project Controller will provide project analytics, reporting and recommendations for effective business decisions.

Project Controller will ensure that appropriate internal controls are in place to comply with corporate financial policies and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.

Major Job Functions:

  1. Execute long term contract accounting.

  2. Project portfolio financial management.

  3. Orders, Sales and Invoicing reconciliations.

  4. Develop and maintain strong procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting of all operations, transactions relating to projects.

  5. Develop and maintain a strong internal controls system that complies with UTC financial policies and established Sarbanes Oxley requirements on Project accounting.

  6. Evaluate and approve accounting estimates. Review and maintain appropriate reserves and accruals.

  7. Work directly with project business leader help manage working capital, inventory, receivables and invoicing.

  8. Support ACE initiatives to achieve objectives for both Site and Cell level metrics.

  9. Other duties, as assigned.| Bachelor in Accounting. MBA is desirable.| 1. 6 Years of accounting experience required, previous POC accounting experience preferred.

  10. Proficiency with MS Office.

  11. Experience in HFM and JD Edwards is desirable.

  12. Team player with attitude for continuous improvement.

  13. Ability to perform under stress and meet guidelines.

  14. Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.

  15. Demonstrated track record of strong business partnering skills required.

  16. Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and use independent judgement.

  17. Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  18. Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated.

  19. Must be able to perform essential job functions safely and work within established company guidelines.
