This position is for an entry-level Service Engineering professional responsible for developing product knowledge, maintaining effective communication with field team members, performing basic diagnostic procedures and conducting analysis to help resolve design/system related issues.
• Manages and maintains effective communication with field team members to understand individual support requirements.
• Develops knowledge of products.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and partners with repair technicians to resolve problems.
• Analyzes information to help resolve design/system related problems.
• May repair, install or design equipment, tools and products.
• Acts as customer and field service interface.
• Drives improvements based on end user experience.
• Performs corrective actions for field issues, special investigations, and product testing.
• Includes Power Plant engineers.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and less than 3 years of relevant experience.In the absence of a degree, 4 years of relevant experience is required.
