Position Summary: Carriers’ Engineering & Technology organization is undergoing significant change. Key initiatives include creation of new research and strategy capabilities, implementation of multi-generational roadmapping at the platform, product and component level, organizational transformation and consolidation. Successful candidate(s) will lead transformation initiatives within the Engineering and Technology organization.
Key Job Responsibilities;
Drive the execution of specific transformation projects, implementing, and/or improving governance processes
Utilize project management best practices to manage plans, budget, and resources
Drive cross-functional or cross-business strategic and tactical alignment
Potential areas of focus;
Monitoring & reporting of the strategy & technology portfolio and Roadmapping / Platforming data.
Engineering Systems and Tools consolidation and deployment.
Digital Thread implementation support.
Tactical execution for Carrier NEXT improvement initiatives.
Experience / Qualifications:
Strong technical, communication and organization skills and the ability to drive project execution.
Skilled in conflict resolution and influence without authority.
Experience and presence communicating at all levels of the organization including C-suite.
Ability to work and prioritize multiple projects at the same time.
Familiarity with HVACR and FSP businesses
Education: BS, MS in Engineering with a minimum 15 years’ experience in research, product development, sustaining or service engineering or MBA/PhD with a minimum of 7 years’ experience.
