At Prestwick Service Centre we are specialists in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft engine nacelles systems and engine components. As part of our planned continued expansion we require experienced individuals who will contribute to our success, whilst upholding our reputation as a leading provider of quality MRO services with our European and Middle Eastern customers

A number of opportunities have arisen within our engineering team in the following disciplines:

  • Repair Engineer: Working with the support engineer, you will interrogate production designs / models, design repair schemes, liaise with the on-site stress team and subject matter experts based in our California headquarters. Ideally the successful candidates will have experience within the aerospace industry and repair / design environment.

  • Support Engineer: Providing first line support to our workshop, you will compile component survey reports, disposition inspection records, identify existing repair solutions which can be re-utilised, liaise with subject matter experts on-site and at our California headquarters. Ideally the successful candidates will have experience within a similar field in aerospace (e.g. MRB)

Requirements:

Essential Requirements / Skills / Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. aeronautical or mechanical) or equivalent experience within a similar aerospace environment.

  • A sound understanding/experience of aircraft design and development processes associated with aircraft nacelles, systems, structures is advantageous but not mandatory.

  • High level of computer literacy with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience of working with MS Office and Computer Aided Design, ideally CATIA v5 and AutoDesk / AutoCAD is beneficial.
