-Responsible for the regional sales for UTC Aerospace Systems products for customers based in the Asia Pacific region through the following areas:

New Business Growth

  • Develop and Maintain customer sales forecasts and achieve Customer territory sales plan for Spare Parts, MRO and Strategic Long Term Agreements

  • Responsible for marketing/selling UTC Aerospace aftermarket products and services to assigned customers

  • Identify business opportunities and develop strategies for achieving business objectives

  • Coordinate proposal activities and lead negotiations to successful closure

  • Gather appropriate information on marketplace and competition

  • Know the customer’s organization, culture, structure, key decision makers and the customer decision making process

Customer / Territory Management

  • Provide recommendations to support repair, spares and inventory forecast/planning and corporate strategy initiatives

  • Responsible for managing a positive business relationship with assigned customers

  • Drive Customer Satisfaction results

  • Own the Aftermarket customer interface for UTC Aerospace Systems for non-military customers

  • Coordinate with UTC Aerospace Systems Field Service Representatives (FSR) to develop new business opportunities and raise any technical issues with FSR and follow progress

  • Facilitate resolution of customer satisfaction issues leveraging functional Customer Service groups and product line program management

  • Lead Business Reviews and Executive visits as required

  • Maintain Executive briefing documents and strategy documents for assigned customers as needed

-Ensure compliance with Export Control Regulations of all countries where UTAS operates, any local government policies and the UTC Code of Ethics

-Will be required to handle US Export Controlled Hardware and Technology

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree ( Business or Engineering discipline )

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in aerospace or aviation activities

• Comprehensive knowledge of finance, program management, marketing principles and practices

• Thorough understanding of related industry practices and a firm knowledge of the various regulatory frameworks throughout the assigned region

• Able to establish and maintain supportive relationships with both technical and non-technical customer personnel

• Energetic and resourceful with a high level of integrity

• Possess good teamwork spirit

• Excellent written, negotiation, presentation and verbal communication skills

• Position will be based in Singapore and will involve a considerable amount of international travel.
