SUMMMARY OF ROLE:
Responsible for the P&L of 2 MRO sites with an annual turnover of more than USD 110 million and staff strength of more than 200 housed within a centralized repair and maintenance Collins Aerospace Campus.
The business product portfolio is extensive which includes Evacuation Equipment, Electrical Power Systems, Flight Actuations, Fuel Components, etc.
Manage, lead and develop Management team and employees of two Aftermarket Services Global Repair Services MRO sites
Accountable Manager for site and able to exhibit strong business acumen working with various stakeholders to market the site and ensure healthy business growth
Ensure MRO operations meet customer satisfaction and turnaround requirements
Responsible for ensuring that MRO operations meet Airworthiness standards, including quality approvals for FAA, CAAS, CAAC among others
Develop and manage operational overhead budgets, including the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Develop strong relationships with Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and key internal and external customers that can help build trust and resolve potential future issues
Manage the maintenance of assets and support the introduction of new capability(s)
Ensure full compliance to all required local regulations and corporate requirements, especially in the areas of Ethics, EHS and International Trade Compliance
Drive operational excellence through all processes by leveraging on the AIM operational framework
Advocate and work closely with Management team to drive employee engagement initiatives throughout the organization REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Engineering or business management related discipline. Candidates with a Master’s degree will be favorably considered
With at least 10 years of experience in the Aerospace industry and a minimum of 5 years in a key leadership role
Strong knowledge of operations and business processes (supply chain, finance)
Ability to build and lead a successful and diverse team in a matrix reporting organization
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Assertive with excellent decision-making and influencing skills.
Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines
Excellent verbal and written communication
