Work is on JSTARS Flight Simulators located at Robins AFB GA.
Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence and in selecting tools and testing instruments.
Receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher level technician, and work is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices.
Handle special projects and activities as assigned.
Must be able to work effectively in a team-based environment, set priorities to meet deadlines, handle multiple projects, and make decisions under pressure.
The incumbent will be expected to be available to work on any shift as required and to perform other projects and short-term assignments as directed.
Weekend work may be mandatory with rotating responsibilities for assisting with simulator preventative and work order based maintenance activities.

This position requires an HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS Diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 4 years of relevant experience is required.
Must be able to commit to rotating shift work - 1st, 2nd and sometimes 3rd shift.
Must be or able to get SEC+ certified for Cyber Security functions.
Must have the ability to get a security clearance. US Citizenship required.
Previous flight simulator or other simulation experience or aircraft/avionics experience desired.
The majority of this experience would involve commercial category FAA Level 'C' and 'D' devices.
Formalized education in Engineering, Industrial studies, or an equivalent combination of education and
