The Hot Section Module Center – North (HSMC) delivers highly technical products to the Engine Centers and Spares Organizations. We are looking for an experienced Industrial Engineer who will be responsible for process flow and capacity management. The candidate will design the production plans through the use of engineering standards, lean tools, and visual/digital control panels to build the most efficient sequence of operations and work flow decisions.
This position is for Hot Section Module Center - North's extended operations location in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
Implementing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Overall Labor Effectiveness (OOE) initiatives within manufacturing operations
Calculating machine and labor requirements, capacity, and inventory needs
Improving work cell design and process flow
Improving manufacturing visual management
Participating in and leading kaizen events
Conducting time studies to create and maintain manufacturing standards
Developing and maintaining process maps, value stream maps, and standard work documents
Learning and applying new concepts while keeping current with state of the art techniques
Study product requirements and determine capital equipment, and labor staffing to meet requirements
Conduct machine capacity analysis and identify / manage improvement initiatives to increase efficiency
Develop methods to increase productivity, maximize efficiency and manage human capital more effectively
Recommend capital investment strategy to meet product delivery and cost targets
Evaluate effects of schedule and product design changes
Design layouts of equipment and work space
Some travel required
Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering.
3 or more years of industrial engineering experience
US Citizenship is required due to government contract
Experience with OEE and OLE/OOE
Manufacturing experience in process flow and capacity management
Able to understand production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and other information in manufacturing
Demonstrated leadership with the ability to work in a fast pace environment
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Can craft clear communication
Proven root cause solving capability
Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
Demonstrated follow-through and project management skills
Six Sigma Black Belt Certified or ACE Practitioner preferred
Can build positive relationships
Creative troubleshooting skills
