  • Generate/review focal plane array requirements

  • Generate/review focal plane array test plans and procedures

  • Oversee the debug, characterization and test of image sensor readout integrated circuits (ROICs) and focal plane arrays

  • Generate/review test plan reports

  • Act as technical point of contact (POC) for focal plane vendors

  • Act as technical point of contact (POC) for integrating sphere vendors to support focal plane array calibration

  • Support generation of technical and cost proposals

Education/Certifications:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related technical degree, w/7+ years experience

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Experience testing infrared and visible sensors, and their components - readout integrated circuits (ROIC), focal plane arrays (FPA), integrated Dewar/cooler assemblies (IDCA)

  • Experience in design, set-up and troubleshooting of test equipment for infrared and visible sensors and their components

  • Experience in writing test plans and procedures

  • Experience in performing data analysis

  • Experience in writing test reports

  • Experience with MS Office

  • U.S. Citizenship Required

List of preferred skills (grouped together)

  • Experience performing radiometric analyses

  • Experience developing test or analysis software (C++,) and or Matlab

  • Experience in writing test plans and procedures

  • Proven problem solving skills

  • Proven ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to drive tasks to closure
