ROLE OVERVIEW

This position is for a Associated Director, FP&A, Air Management Systems, recognized as a thought leader in Financial Planning and Analysis. Recommends critical strategies and plans for financial analysis, research, an forecasts. Provides technical subject matter expertise to senior leaders and makes recommendations based on complex financial reports and statistical analysis.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops strategies and plans for financial analysis, research and forecasts to support long-term and strategic business decisions of the organization.

  • Oversees financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as preparation of action plans and recommendations for business and operational decisions.

  • Provides technical subject matter expertise to senior leaders.

  • Interprets complex financial reports and statistical analysis and makes recommendations.

  • Identifies and implements procedures and processes to expand sales growth and identifies risks and opportunities.

  • Oversees processes to ensure that financial practices are conducted accurately and in compliance with regulations, laws and standards.

  • Conducts large-scale, cross-functional projects. Provides support on major financial transactions and business decisions.

  • Performs economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation and investments.

  • Analyzes profit-and-loss income statements and prepares reports on findings to make budgeting and cost recommendations to management.

  • Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance, operations, supply chain, programs, engineering and other areas of business for financial and strategic planning purposes.

  • Researches economic progressions to assist the organization's financial planning.

  • Creates financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions in areas such as new product development and new marketing strategies.

  • Provides support for pricing and sales.

  • Develops and maintains financial information systems.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

These are the minimum qualifications to do the job.

  • Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 12 years of relevant experience

  • Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 10 years of relevant experience

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 16 years of relevant experience

  • Must be a US Person (this will include the green card holders)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or CPA

  • Experience using PowerPoint and Excel

  • Experience with HFM

  • Analytical skills

Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
